FALL  TERM 2 HOT LUNCHES – ADDING MONDAYS, WEDNESDAYS AND FRIDAYS

DEADLINE FOR FALL TERM 2 ORDERS: Friday, October 10th at noon

We at the Lunch Mom are pleased to announce that we will be expanding our lunch service days at Bessborough PS starting October 14.    Lunches will now be served all days (except Pizza Days).

IF YOU HAVE ALREADY ORDERED TUESDAYS AND THURSDAYS, PLEASE DO NOT ORDER THOSE DAYS AGAIN!  YOUR INITIAL ORDER FOR THOSE DAYS IS GOOD UNTIL THE END OF DECEMBER.

In January, for the Winter term, lunches will be sorted by day (so Pasta Mondays, Chicken Tuesdays, Mixed Wednesdays, Beefy Thursdays, and Fun Fridays) to make lunches simpler for parents of fussier eaters.  For the remainder of this term, the days will be mixed to accommodate the parents who have already ordered, and want to keep the same meals that they purchased in September.

All of our meals are prepared in our nut and seed free kitchen in Leaside.  If your child has other dietary restrictions or allergens (vegetarian, dairy or egg for example), just make a note in the comment section of the order form and we will accommodate.  Your child’s special will come in the class bin clearly marked with his/her name.  Celiac meals are also available for an additional cost of $1 per lunch.

For the younger students, lunch will be delivered in containers with meals pre-packed on site to ensure food is hot at lunch time! Meals will be dropped off right before lunch service at your child’s classroom door or in the common eating room. For the older students, lunches will be served buffet style in the lunchroom.  The system is 100% green – all containers and forks are returned to us at the end of lunch.

One-off lunch cancelations are limited to ONE CREDIT PER TERM PER CHILD.  If your child is going to be away on a field trip or for appointments or illness, please let us know before 7am that day and we will cancel the lunch and credit your account for use next term.  

If your child will be away for an extended period of time, please let me know by email, or if you know before your next term ordering, add a note to the comments section of your order and choose etransfer as your payment option and I will calculate the prorated amount for you to send in.
