A Kriegsmarine Enlisted Man's/Nco's Overseas Side Cap; French Made Auction Archive dated February 18 1942Constructed with a black wool exterior, fold down panels with gently sloping, downward scallops to the front and forward sides, the panels sewn in place via stitching at the front behind the cockade, sewn in place on the peak on the front is a Kriegsmarine eagle in yellow and navy blue machine embroidery, illustrating a left facing spread winged eagle, its talons gripping a wreathed swastika below, embroidered tri colour cockade on a navy blue
