The pictures of the first pages show an army camp with soldiers in training. Quite a few photos were taken during a trip of German soldiers to the Basque country in northeastern Spain in 1940. The purpose of this trip is unknown. The following nine photos were taken during the Polish campaign, specifically on September 25, 1939. All of these feature A. H. Several pictures were taken on the
