Hand-painted Made Do Double-sided Blackberries Sign on Metal Lid drawing of boys selling bananas I'd guess this piece isI really love the immediacy of this old hand painted blackberries sign, and the fact that 'ies' in berries is a little scrunched up, and the division between black on one line and berries on the next, making one think about the amazing color of ripe blackberries, and also the blackness of the painted letters themselves. Plus this yellow, which is just about exactly the color of hotdog mustard, and then the nearly identical white letters against black
