Founded in 1944, the company grew quickly producing chairs for the government, famously the Navy chair that was designed for use on Submarines. However, despite the overwhelming number of these "Navy" chairs out there, actual military issued Emecos are super rare. This is a rare example from 1952 that was made for the Army Medical Corps, and used in a hospital. These rare chairs were
