Daumier was a French printmaker, caricaturist, painter, and sculptor whose work primarily focuses on social and political life in France during the 19th century. He is best known for his caricatures of political figures and satires on the behavior of his countrymen. He held an exhibition of hsi work at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in 1901. Today, many of his pieces
