A weald is an area of open rolling land that may have once been forested. The original artwork in this print was created by Myles Birket Foster (1825 1899). Foster was an English watercolor artist and illustrator. He was born in North Shields, England, to a Quaker family. Foster was apprenticed to a wood engraver named Ebenezer Landells in London and worked as an
