Élevage: 12 months in old 228 L barrels + 6 months in bottle

and has been meticulously farmed by Ken and Abbey Swegles since 2016

The two varieties are then blended and some of the wine ages for 5 months in a mix of old barrels and some remains in the stainless steel

2024 Domaine Bachelet-Monnot Clos de la Boutiere, Maranges Premier Cru, France Sottoilnoce where Ampeleia has continous inputSourced from ~1 ha of 5565yearold Pinot Noir vines in the walled Clos de la Boutire climat on clay limestone soils. Hand harvested and vinified with native yeasts, the wine sees ~30% whole clusters, gentle pigeage, and ~15 days maceration. Its aged 18 months in French oak (25% new) and bottled unfined and unfiltered.
