2019 Elio Sandri (Cascina Disa) 'Perno' Barolo DOCG, Italy Simone 2018 Domaine de la BordeSandris Barolo Perno, named after its Monforte dAlba cru of origin, blends vines from throughout the propertyprimarily eastern exposed Nebbiolo plantings from 25 to 55 years of age, situated between 300 and 350 meters of altitude, in soils of grayish loam shot through with veins of sand and blue marl. Elio allows the character of the vintage to determine the aging regimen; in the case of the 2019, a long and relatively cool season yielded wines of
