1888 Chromolithograph Medieval Europe Costume Knight Horse Chain Mail LCH3 XGMC6 leatherworker and retoucherThis is a rare original 1888 color chromolithograph which depicts several figures from Medieval Europe. Most of the military scenes come from the castle of Saint Floret in Auvergne and date back to the 12th and 13th centuries. The couple in the upper left, as well as the two riders in the lower right are from an Italian manuscript that dates back to the 14th century.
