1905 Halftone Print Monkey Tower Rome Italy Architecture Street Little XGKA6 XGKB1 According to Christian tradition itThis is an original 1905 black and white halftone print of the Tower of the Monkey, (also sometimes called the Tower of Little Mill), in Rome which was built in the Middle Ages by the wealthy Italian Frangipane family. According to legend, the Tower earned its name after a pet monkey kidnapped an infant, climbed to the top of the roof, and left the child there unharmed. The moral of the story is of course, not to let your baby be "monkeynapped".
